Arkon were asked to assess the current security in place, and come up with a plan to provide an effective security system to cover the house and grounds. With such a popular and magnificent premises, it was important that the security system was both effective and yet unassuming.

One of the key issues was that any systems installed would need to be discreet and sympathetic to the surroundings. The beauty of the building and the grounds could not be compromised by the need for safety and security. At the same time, the guest would need to know they were safe, without feeling as if they were being watched.

Arkon worked quickly, but carefully, to ensure the absolute minimum of disruption to the guests and the running of the hotel. The comprehensive access control and CCTV system was installed to give complete coverage of the building, facilities and grounds. These systems were blended with the surroundings, so they were barely noticeable from the normal décor and background.

The Chewton Glen now boasts not only some of the best accommodation, cuisine and customer services in the UK, but also one of the safest security systems. Arkon continues to provide the support and ongoing maintenance for this system.
